ABOUT US

Our Corner was founded from a deeply personal experience. As a mother of an autistic son, the founder, Nhari, faced the heartbreaking reality that many afterschool programs lacked the necessary accommodations to meet her son's needs. Time and time again, he was turned away from programs that weren’t equipped to provide the right support, leaving the family with limited options for safe, enriching care.

Determined to create a solution, Nhari founded Our Corner—a place where neurodivergent children are not only accepted but celebrated. Our Corner is more than just an afterschool program; it’s a supportive and inclusive environment where children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences can thrive. We offer a range of specialized therapies, including occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and ABA therapy, all tailored to each child's unique needs.

In addition to our afterschool care, we offer contracted mental health services to further support our children's emotional and behavioral well-being. These services are designed to help children manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in all aspects of their lives. Our team of licensed professionals works collaboratively with families to ensure that each child receives the personalized care they deserve.

We also provide safe and reliable transportation from school to Our Corner, ensuring that families have a seamless and stress-free experience. Our goal is to create a safe, enriching environment for every child, helping them reach new heights of growth and achievement.
